Hey dad and mom!
Thanks for the email dad. i am so glad to hear that everything went well . I now that it must have been just wonderful. Right know im in a Internet house that will be my last time here in this area. i found out that im being transfered to someother place , but im not sure where yet. But im really excited, and kinda sad at the same time because i grew really close to some people here. I am really greatful that i had the opportunity to serve here. Everything is going great dad. There are really so many blessing that im reciving from the lord. I cant help but be greatful for the lessons im learning . I think how much better prepared i will be to be a father like you dad. Thanks for the prayers and the love.

Hey dad
I know exactly how you feel about grandpa leaving a big hole. And like you said there are so many people in our lives that are especially there to help your needs to become as the lord wants. i was thinking of grandpa the other day, and Sister Johnson said around the time he passed away that i would find myself just thinking about him and that i would start to cry. She was right , but i cry because of the love he had for all of us, kind of like our savior. I thank you all so very much for the prays dad, they are NOT WASTED . They are divine and sacred and i know that they are helping me. Its funny how things work out like that . You know what i mean. But im sending you some pictures. The first would be the beautiful sunset. the second would be me drinking the southern brasilian drink, and the third would just be of me. Dad im going so much, im learning that though obediance we are blessed . We had a babtism saturday and i got the chance to confirm our investigator. it was really neat. Hello Family!
Thanks so much for the wonderful photos! I cant believe how big you guys are. You all look so different to me . Its so crazy how you guys change after 8 months! I guess that i always thought you would be the same when i came home , but i can already see that it will be a lot different. Things are going great for me here and the lord is blessing me a lot.
So the family reunion is coming up this week eh? I hope that everything works out great , i want to know everything.
Well if you would like me too say something to the whole family , i would like to say that i sure love each and everyone of you. Im so sorry that im not able to write every single person in the family about how much i love them. I always loved the family reunions, it was one of the most anticipated things for me during the year. But give all my love for everyone there.
i hope that all of you have a wonderful time . Tell dad that im not fooled by that rooster, there is only one sam! haha

Mom
I dont mind being your little boy forever, i find that i miss you more and more each day. Not in a bad way. I love Brasil . Mom, besides the email i sent you, i was going to send you a little mothers day gift as well , but i didnt complete my mission. I hope you will forgive me if its a bit late... I am so so sorry mom. Ashley already went through the temple by now. but tell her congradulations, maybe she knows now why i loved to go almost every week. I love the temples. As the time goes by i am learning a lot mom, and i know the church i true more and more, and i really will be a lot different when i get back. i was incredably blessed when i was in home but i could have had many more blessing and helped others more. Think You are the best mother in the world. I love you MOM!

How happy i am to hear that you are going to serve in the same wonderful contry as me. I cant tell you what a help you have given me in the work. My companion tells me that your mission is really white and ready to harvest. i really cant beleive that youll be speaking a little bit of portuguese with me. Its pretty funny that you got your call really close to the day i did. Elder Madril is serving in the mission right next to yours Sâo Paulo Leste. And tell maddy i think i screamed just as loud as she did when i found out where you were going . When will you be heading out? And what are you thinking about you call. I know that you will get the language just fine. I know that Brasil is going to be a wonderful blessing for you and for our family, and especially the families that are waiting for you in São Paulo Interlogos. Mom i cant beleive how fast time is flying here. I am on my 7th month and i am really astonished at how the lord has blessed me and you guys. 7 months ago i didnt know anything about potuguese and now i am giving talks in the ward here. 7 months ago my sister ashley did not even have the word mission in her mind, and in the space of 7 months maddy and jesse and logan and russell have changed in many beautiful ways. we have so many blessings mom. I sure love you, and i know that the tough times are still going to come, but i know that just means more blessings in one way or another. You and Dad and my brothers and sisters are so precious to me . I love you all

Dad
It was so awesome to talk to you guys on the phone on mothers day. You guys are so wonderful. I was so happy for the blessing that the lord is pouring over your heads. My feelings were so full that i lost it pretty good at the end there. But what a neat thing it is to have you guys. I was Astonished at Ashleys decision. I could not be more happy for her. The things that she is going to do , the people that she is going to touch. I feel a lot like Ammon, who when he ran into his brothers who were still his brothers in the gosple, was so filled with joy that he fell to the ground. What neat blessing are coming from the lord. It was kindof funny, but today me and my companion were cleaning our house, the outside because we are moving from that one. But this Huge triantula spider popped out of no where , crawling on my trousers. I will have to send you pictures of the big guy. Tell everyone how much i love them one more time.
